I happened to buy a new battery unfortunately i connected the the cables on the wrong terminal, the horn went off i disconnected the battery and place cable in the right way. but I have a message to check the gauges. I see the battery gauge does not work anymore. What should i do? If I have to replace the battery gauge, how do I do it?

There could be two problems here:
1. That buoy floating tank is not working properly
2. That the electrical system that fails to submit the dashboard.

if the gauge starts a 0 - goes to 1/2 , than full - sounds like gauge is OK - seems to me like the sending unit is bad - you could try removing the sender and trying to clean out the port with "brake clean", letting it dry than re-installing it. the pressure switch is still the least expensive place to start
