Heater works only for the Defroster, how do you access the blend door, seems to be stuck since no change occurs when turning switch control. Heater works only for the Defroster, how do you access the blend door, seems to be stuck since no change occurs when turning switch control.

if your radiator is leaking then i would say you are low on coolant. the heater wont work when the coolant is low. i would see what happens when you get the new radiator in tomarrow.
This sounds like a typical Ram radiator problem. Im willing to bet it does'nt overheat quick. It does it slowly. Even while at highway speeds. If so change the radiator.
check to see if both heater hoses are same temp when engine is at normal running temp if not heater core not flowing coolant may need to flush also make sure it does reach normal temp around 200
There is a actuator on the right side of your leg while sitting in the drivers seat under the dash. It has a plastic rod for actuation manually actuate this diverter and should be the problem.
is this a problem w/ the interior vents? maybe stuck venting in outside air rather than from the heater box? did the heat only stop working after the radiator/hose install? if so, then you probably have a big air pocket stuck in the heater core.
when you start the truck do your lights dim and your volt gauge fluctuate. if they do, i would think the grid heaters are working. could be an injector going out
