SOURCE: My turn signal have gone
first off hello
Ok so whats has happend in this case is inside the steering colum your turn siginals headlamp lights switch wipers are all connected on a plastic peice with metal terminals and wires to each switch.
What happend is you have a short in that plastic peice its common in some cars but that is it

Well...if lights are good, fuses are good, and the peplaced switch is good...maybe there is a relay for the headlights in a distrobution panel under the hood.
I'd check that next.

SOURCE: power door locks don't work; interior lights
these trucks have a generic body control module in the left kickpanel. just remove the plastic trim from the drivers floor molding to access the module. inspect the wire for green dust or gel. if there is signs of this then you have a corrosion problem. disconnect you battery and then try cleaning the corrosion all off using contact cleaner and penetrating oil. once the corrosion is gone then reconnect everything and try to see if it works. If not then it is possible that the module is damaged. you will need a new one.

I was driving back to our campsite last night, after taking my wife to the hospital. I was turning on the hi-beams and instead the wipers started going. After, I could not control the wipers, the high beams and had absolutely no turning signals... And we bought a new vehicle to be a reliable source of transporation...sigh.
