My front a/c blows very cold air but doesn't even turn on for the rear a/c. We've tried using both front and rear controls. When using heat, the front passenger blows cold air while the passenger side blows warm air. Again rear heat doens't turn on. Nothing blows out of rear vents period. HELP! We are making it through the summer by riding with the rear windows down for the kids to get air but I don't know what we will do without heating this fall & winter.

The car uses the same freon in the front as it does in the rear. If the rear a/c is working, you either have a plugged evaporator in the front unit, or perhaps a bad heater switch. Try switching the heater to hot and see if it blows even warmer air from the front vents. If so, the heater switch is working and then it sounds like a plugged evaporator or maybe a plugged orifice tube. That is a good place to start looking. Hope this helps.

Sounds like there is a crack in the vent that leads to the drivers side, and hot air from the engine is leaking through.

there are two a/c lines that run down the fire wall under the van to the rear.right around the bottom of the fire wall the is a connection point on both lines. you will find a leak there .replace the orings and recharge system. also you will need two specail toyota tools to release the couplings.i have done this repair on several sienna's. let me know if this helps.

There are seperate blowers for the front and rear air. It is most likely either your blower motor or the resistor, both located under the passenger side dash. I got a blower from a salvage yard for $25, But ended up having to get the resister from the dealership for about $130. Hope this helps.
When I turn on the heat in my 2004 mazda mpv the front air vents blow heat but the rear air vents are blowing cold. I have adjusted every setting is there something I am overlooking.

Usually answered in minutes!
a volt meter or a test light to the electrical connection
Thanks! I will have someone check & keep you posted.
Hello I've been without a computer for some time. My blower motor was replaced because according to my neighbors mechanic it was out. However, that didn't fix anything because we now here a clicking when turning on the switch but still no rear heat or air. He tinkered around for a day or so but still nothing. I think I may have to bring it into a auto repair shop.
