2001 dodge ram 5.9 v8 2wd. need obd2 wiring diagram for the connector under the dash

Emmission testing facility broke the obd2 connector under the dash. after settling with them i bought a repair kit from the dealer. Before I start i would like to know which wire goes where. The holes in the connector are numbered 1 - 16 . Theres at least 6 - 8 wires that plug into it.

try this website to see if they have your truck listed its www.autozone .com if they do you be able to get pictures and diagram showing you or the other thing to do is to stop by your local dodge dealership in the part department they be able to get you pictures and diagrams as well

1998 dodge ram 1500 fuse box diagram
If the truck runs then the issue is probably with the tester you are using and not the OBD2 connection under the dash. If it doesn't run at all then the engine computer is probably defective. Unless of course someone has been making "non-factory" wiring connections under the dash or in the engine compartment and then all bets are off.

You need a code reader for Generic Codes
or a Professional Scan Tool, for all data, that
the manufacturer releases

Where is speaker harness
Under your dash on the drivers side there is a big connector that I think has a little bolt to hold it together. Just underneath that, there's a smaller connector with like 26 wires in it. That's the only intermediate connector that goes to both front speakers, but it's got so much goin through it that if it were disconnected you'd have a bunch of stuff not working.
