Car started fine in morning, drove and parked for approximately an hour. Returned and car would not start, turned as though battery was down. Jumped car and it started right away, drove home, shut the car off and then it would not start. Only clicking sound when trying to start, tested battery, tested good.
That sounds like a problem with the charging system, not the battery. It was cranking slow when you had to jump start it the first time, then after driving it, it just clicks when you try to start it. The alternator should have been recharging it while driving, it sounds like it was not. If you want to throw parts at it, the alternator sounds like it is the most likely problem, the best choice would be to have the charging and starting system tested to verify that is the problem first.
How did you test the battery? The fact that you jumped it and drove home with no problem tells you the battery is the problem.

Check your battery cables for tightness, especially your ground cable. Now you have a new battery, so you have eliminated that as the source of the problem. Turn on your headlights, do they go out or very dim when attempting to start the car? If so, you have a poor electrical connection somewhere - loose cable, bad cable, possibly bad ignition switch.

Have you checked to see if all of the fuses are good? That could be the cause for the radio and the tripometer not working.

Check for a weak solenoid (spelling) on top of starter. Magnet too weak to throw out the bendix.
