Troubleshooting my 04 saturn vue (4cyl. front wheel drive) bcuz it is stalling at idol. Have already changed spark plugs, boots, feul pump and filter, air filter, and none of this has fixed the problem. We just unplugged an O2 sensor and it did not change the performance of the car. Does this mean that there is a good chance the O2 sensor is the problem? Please help!

I dont want to seem disrespectful at all, but if you were to crossthread the spark plugs when installing them it would be a very expensive mistake. but if you work on vehicles a little bit it isnt a bad job to do. I guess what I am trying to say if you havent ever done something like that just be careful.

HAVE A TECHNICIAN CK THE OPERATION OF THE OXYGEN SENSORS,MAF SENSOR AND AIR FILTER. THESE ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT SENSORS FOR MILAGE.

The P0304 indicates the #4 cylinder is misfiring. The flashing light means the cylinder is not firing at all...It could be several things causeing it, coil, wires, plug, injector or vacuum leak. Do not drive your vehicle until you have this repaired, as it will lead to further more costly problems. Good luck, i hope this helps.

My good friend don't be down with your problem. See first your life which is beautiful and cars can be fixed but our life health wont.I will try to help you with your car's problem. If you suspect the Catalytic Converter it doesn't need to be replaced immediately,You have to confirm first,there is how. First start the car in idle and go at the back of your car and smell the emissions coming out of the exhaust pipe and if the smell is like rotten eggs means you need cat.Even though before you go for it try second test by visiting the MOT Center and request for emission test.Then you finalize. The other Advice I give you is to clean the throttle body ( it is the part that accelerates your engine) either is working mechanically ( cable ) or electronically ( connector ) Use a good quality of carb cleaner and it is much better to remove it and do a very good cleaning. I do not know how expert you are on cars because it is better to remove the throttle by an expert. When finish put in your fuel tank an additive for Fuel Injection Cleaning - What I personally use is the Liqui moly fuel additive and it is very good.
