I don't know if you have reset the computer but if not take one battery terminal off for about 5 minutes and that will reset your computer. If you don't have anymore problems it should not come back on.

un plug the fuel injector and see if the raw fuel smell, goes way, if it does the injector could be stuck open. if this is the case the more you run it the more fuel is getting into the crank case, this can wash the bearings and ruin the engine, check the oil see if you smell fuel if you do, you will have to pull up the injector rail with all the injectors and cycle the key one time, watch that injector to see if it drips fuel after the rest have stopped . if it leaks replace the injector all the injector o rings and change the oil.

I just changed the o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 2

Well, FIRST let me ask you what does B1S2 mean to you?

Bank 1 means it is the same side as the #1 Cylinder
Sensor 2 means it is the Sensor DOWN STREAM or AFTER the Catalytic converter..

With this being said... Are you sure you changed the correct O2 Sensor?

The Second thing that I need to tell you is this... Because it says O2 Sensor. Majority of the time it is the Sensor, but it could be other things... Broken Wire, Computer, Fuel Pressure and if it is DOWNSTEAM... Then it could be the CAT.

THEN.... I looked up and see that it was a HONDA and low and behold it occurred to me...

WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR O2 Sensor From? (this is where I saved so many people)...

Honda has made the variables so TIGHT that an AFTERMARKET O2 Sensor does not work....

If you have a ULEV Vehicle (Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle), you are pretty much forced to get the Sensor from Honda....

That would be my FIRST GUESS.... Get the HONDA Part...

Hello, I have a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT V6 3.0 that the service engine light soon has come on. A mechanic put his diagonistics machine on it and the error code P0135 - Heater circuit, bank 1 sensor 1. I...

it is not an O2 sensor but a heated oxygen sensor that is in the exhaust manifold before the cat converter
heated oxygen sensor(HO2S) 1 bank 1 is the one against the fire wall
it is not a heater as such but has an internal heating system so that it reads the exhaust emissions correctly and adjusts the air /fuel settings in the ECM
normally has 4 wires
the oxygen sensor (O2S) is after the cat converters and is a completely different sensor to read a different exhaust gas

Your van has four o2 sensor's, the code should tell you which one is bad for exsample code should be like,
o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1 or 2
o2 sensor bank 2 sensor 1 or 2

Also make sure you don't have a vacum leak.

Replaced bank 1 sensor 1 O2 sensor with an OE

Those lights indicate an issue with ABS or traction control systems. In order to properly diagnose the problem the vehicle's codes will need to be read with a scanner.

Generally speaking there is no danger in driving the vehicle but be aware you may not have functioning traction control and/or ABS while those lights are present.

2005 Dodge Magnum error code...

Your heated O2 sensor has a heeater problem most likely. Most likely time to change out your HO2 sensor. Most cars actually have only primary heated. Not sure for this application but would thus assume the primary sensor or otherwise known as precat O2.
With a sensor high you have high voltage back to the pcm thus most likely shorted heating element.

There is an outside chance of a cross short to the ground circuit of your O2 sensor. If after replacing your sensor you still have a problem then start looking for this.

I see you went to the auto parts store and got an HO2 sensor (Should be a 22mm or 7/8" -- same size) and replace the Primary and if that do not solve the problem, then see if you have a heated postcat HO2 if not then see above.

Good luck and hope this helps, oh and Bank 1 is where your #1 cylinder is.

Code # P0141 and P0138

You said you changed the O2 sensors, which ones? I do believe that sensor 2 is the Catalyst efficiency monitor, it looks like an O2 but it's function is different. This sensor is behind the Catalytic converter, the O2 is in front. Bank one is the bank that # 1 cylinder is on, so the sensor that is defective is the 2nd sensor back on that sides exhaust pipe.

P0141 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Heater Performance Bank 1 Sensor 2

P0138 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Circuit High Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 2
