I suppose ur car is AT, make sure u have enough oil in the gearbox, it is not engaging. Are the drive shafts stil conected to the gearbox? Check them out, good luck.
When it won't start, does it at least make a click sound? If so try tapping on the body of the starter with a small hammer while some else holds the the key in the start position. If it starts then your starter needs to be replaced.
try kicking your fuel tank and if your fuel pump is bad it may "kick start" so to speak your fuel pump, if nothin happens it may be the fuel pump, the lines may not have enough pressure, it may also be your filter just being a lil dirty and needing replaced
check if the fuel pump is working, if you have someone near the tank and someone else crank motor you should be able to hear a bzzzzzz rom the tank from the pump. if no noise is heard then hit or thump the tank, this can make a fuel pump start to work again, if it starts, then the pump is almost dead
It sounds like the Belt was too loose and was not allowing the Alternater to Charge the Battery. I would Jump the Car off just long enough to get to the Mechanic and have the Belt, Alternator, and Battery Checked out In addition to the Radiator.
