Tell me did, did skipping start after you replace oxygen sensor or did vechicle already have skip before sensor change if so skipping can be caused by intake leak,bad spark plugs and wires,could have restricted fuel filter, weak fuel pump or weak ignition coil. if skipping occur after you replaced oxygen sensor could have loose sensor or cross thread sensor threads causing exhaust leak around oxygen sensor.

Bank 1 refers to the side of the engine that contains cylinder number 1. This is the side of the engine nearest the firewall.
Sensor 1 refers to the first sensor off the manifold, or closest to the engine.
This also is the O2 sensor that is located before the catalytic converter in the manifold. Sensor 2 is located after the catalytic converter, further down below the car.

Bank 1 is always the side with the #1 spark plug, and in your case it is the right or passenger side, and it will be the first O2 sensor in the exhaust system either on the passenger side exhaust manifold itself, or it will be just after the passenger side exhaust manifold, and before the catalytic converter.

Oxygen sensors are numbered by which bank of cylinders they serve. Bank 1 is the left or drivers side bank of cylinders on the 4.3L which has the odd numbered cylinders 1,3, and 5. Bank 2 is the right or passenger side bank of cylinders numbered 2, 4, and 6. The Bank 1 Sensor 1 would be the sensor for the left hand side of the engine AHEAD of the converter. Bank 1 Sensor 2 is the sensor for the left hand side bank of cylinders BEHIND the converter.
