The door switches sometimes stick. Spray some WD-40 or similar lube on them.

I learned from another site that WD-40 in the door handle, lock cylinder will often clean the sensor that is likely acting up. I tried it on both my 99s and it worked like a charm!!

Hey, You need to remove the panel otherwise u can't reattach the metal sticks that move the locks, but i think it's hard to remove it in a closed posision when u don't brake it

can you manually unlock the lock and open the door?? Is it more than one door or just one specific door? If its just one door, yourcactuator inside the door may be bad or you have a wire issue. If its all the doors, more than likely you blew a fuse or a relay(id say fuse)

It may be as simple as reprogramming your system. There is a way to re-synch your keys to the system. Use the instructions at:

That vehicle had a lot of problems with the PCM "Power Control Module" and that may be your problem.

Hi Bradley ,the interior light stays on all the time even when car started so had to turn off manually ,i can't find any switches in the area of the check strap as you would find on older cars ,I have stripped the door handles of and sprayed all the mechanisms with wd 40 to no avail ,so I'm not sure where any sensor might be that tells the car when doors are shut ,the light on instrument panel goes out when ignition is of ,and have to lock the doors manually ,any suggestions gratefully received
