2006 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab rear locks not working, Intermitten
I've only had this truck since September but I only notice the problem during colder weather. When i first got the truck the dealer said it was a loose connection on the fuse block and said they tightened it (for $100) and said it wouldn't happen again...wrong. During "episodes" the rear windows continue to work but the locks won't lock/unlock with the remote, driver/passenger door switch and there is not rear door switches. The front locks work fine and all other electrical systems seem to be working fine as well. The cold weather shouldn't be enough to freeze anything up (20-35 degrees) but this is the only common thing i can come up with when the locks quite working. When the weather warms or i park in the garage the locks will start working normal again. Can anyone help me?

we have a 08 1500 crewcab chevy that all the power door locks worked excepted the drivers door. We started to look at that door power lock actuater and now the passenger power door lock does not work. Could the trouble be something other than actuaters?
the most likely cause is the front axle shift motor if bad your your front axle shaft will not lock in.if there is no shifting of transfer case there is also a electric motor that engages that in .
