Just put brand new starter on and everything works but the car wont even turn over so it wont start, it dont click or anything.
I had this issue with my car. its really common in GM cars.. I found this site that sells a way to bypass it. It will save u a ton of money and the site has great customer service if u have any problems .. check it out I hope it helps ya Do It Yourself GM Security bypass
Even with new starter, pls run this test:
Make sure the positive cable, makes a good connection at the battery and at the starter. Make sure the negative cable makes a good ground connection at the battery and (preferably) at the engine.
Turn on the headlights, then try to start the car.If the headlights do not dim or go out, then the battery is likely ok.
If the wiring looks ok, then look at the starter solenoid for a good connection, and proper voltage at the starter(10 volts minimum while cranking).
If the starter spins and no crank, the problem is most likely the Solenoid's bendix gear is stuck.
Have someone hit (not too hard) the starter while you try to start the car. This usually works by dislodging a stuck bendix gear.
If you can, somehow get the engine running, measure the voltage at the battery. It should be at least 13.6 volts to properly charge the battery.
MAY NOT BE THE STARTER MAY JUST BE THE BATTERY CABLES , THEY BOTH MAY HAVE A SHORT IN THE CABLE
SOURCE: my 1999 buick Lesabre will not start even though
It may be the ignition switch key cylinder. My Buick did the same. Everything worked except starting. Dealer replaced cylinder and reprogramed two ignition keys. Copst, $504.

If the engine will not turn over using the starter then it cannot be the fuel pump. If the car has a factory inhibitor system installed, the chances are that it is this system that is preventing the car from starting. You may not have to press a button on the key fob either, it may have a transponder built into the key fob which transmits it's data at switch on.If you don't have the correct key or a key without a keyfob then the anti-theft system will NOT be disabled and the car will not start. There is no easy answer for this as you need the correct keyfob or you need to purchase and have programmed, the new keys.. If this is not the issue, let me know and I will describe further procedures for your issues..
