Constant flicker of the Brake light , is my ABA Chip in need of replacing?

I would look at, or have looked at the wheel bearings. Most vehicles have the wheel sensors as part of the wheel bearings, and if one fails, you will get ABS and traction control issues.

It could be your spring on your emergency brake pedal is weak causing the light to go on or flicker.

have yuo had hte ECU (computer) flashed/ replaced? it sounds like that is the culprit, provided that it doesn't start....

Just fixed one, check the 16 pin connector under the battery. This one was destroyed from battery acid leaking down over it. It provides current for drl and headlights. It's accessible by removing the battery and the air filter housing. GM wants to sell you a wiring harness for 700. Got a used connector from a salvage yard for 15 bucks.

For22 years i have had this problem , no problem with Master Cylinder and no leaks from the brakes. I do believe its the ABS computer and the dealer kept removing the Fuze to cover his *** and never did fix the problem, GMs problem and they neveer corrected it. One dayh there will be an accident because of Failed ABS and they will be sued for Millions of Bucks I have been to GM about this problem and they fixed the year 91 on but not 90
