The compressor seems to work fine but i can hear air escaping. it may raise up but will drop while driving peridocially.
After the 10 year mark, you can bet the air suspension WILL require some major component replacement. In fact just 4 of those "main parts" air struts would cost $5k-$6k range.....and that's if the leak(s) didn't damage the compressor and/or other parts. The air does have a slightly better ride than a coil sprung vehicle, but is that "little bit" of ride quality and increased unreliability, worth thousands of dollars to you? It depends on how you want to spend your money though. You can do a conversion for a fraction of the cost of maintaining the air system. Your choice, constantly worry "when" the air will ride like a little red wagon....or strike that problem off the list forever with a Mercedes E500 Air Suspension Conversion and spend your money on the fun stuff in life!
The easiest fix is to hook up a scanner on the suspension test plug. This will give you a test to each sensor. Some models may even record a history of performance.
Underneath the car, someone can use soapy water and spray the air lines and suspension bags to test for leaks. There are venting solenoids on each wheel to level the car and a Master solenoid called a "dump" valve to release all of the air
The system is tied into the doorjam and trunklid switches which must be closed to allow the system to work. Escaping air should be easy enough to find.

You need power window regulator as the cable of the regulator is out its place ,
Good luck...

There is a valve that is located between engine and firewall. I fixed it myself with help from benzworld.org. It seems to be a common problem with this model and the new valve has a slightly different part number and is supposed to be better. It took about 1 hr. you have to take a few parts off to get to the valve, but if you can handle basic tools, it should be ok. there are great step by step pics on the benz site. part is about $40 at dealer. good luck!
