I have a 2005 dodge ram 1500 5.7l v8 hemi. The other day, after a day of driving during a snow storm in 4 wheel drive, the front end started vibrating. When it started I was already back in 2wd. It is not noticeable under 45mph. It was bad enough that my front license plate, holder and frame are gone. They must have fallen off on the highway...
I have a 2002 Ram 1500 4x4 5.9 and I do have the same problem, It does it between 65/70 Mph, I thought it would help if i replaced the cv axle and it almost helped but still there... i guess i gonna have to replace the other side?! hope someone finds something quick
Could be something stuck inside one of the wheels or could be that the CV axle that gives you independent front suspension has gave in and causing the vibration but it being a 2005 I would bet something like mud in the wheel If you haven't backed up to get the front hubs to unlock that may be a problem also
It isn't tires. I've got a 2005 with the same vibration and I've had three sets of tires put on in a 60 day period from my local tire dealer because they thought the same thing, tires. The Dodge dealer said they couldn't feel any vibration (funny everyone else does). I've dealt with this issue for 50,000 miles and no one can't find the solution. The vibration goes away at 75 mph. Usually when you can drive out of a vibration it would be tires but not in this case. CV joints are tight, drive shaft is tight, tires are balanced. I'm thinking transmission?????
could be the drive shaft has thrown a weight or the rear bushing in the trans is worn out

Sounds like you may have unbalanced tires. take your vehicle to a tire shop and have them balanced

I have a 2004 dodge ram 4.7 liter 4x4 with 36,000 miles it has a vibration that starts at 50mph and goes away at 65mph I got all new tires thats are balanced, and its still has a vibration.
had the same thing happen when it snowed. Found out that there was alot of snow packed inside the wheels and gave it a vibration. After a while, it went away when the snow fell off or melted. If it continues after that, I would definately say that there is something else wrong.
only started up recently but its getting a tad more violent in the vibrations i can see the steering wheel shaking when i get up to speed
