My 2009 Dodge Journey won't start. The lights, bells, radio, and everything else works but all the car does when I try is click.
I would check battery connections and test battery. a battery can have a bad cell and run lights but not have enough amps to spin a stater. if everything on battery is good i would suspect a bad starter
If the lights dont dim when you try to start it and you do hear a distinct click try tapping the starter with a hammer while some one is trying the key, also locate the stsrt solinoid thats the thing that should click when turning the key, check to see if when it clicks that 12 volts from ground to the bolt that holds the wire going to the starter is present

This is a notorious problem with '08/'09 Journeys. Unfortunately Dodge, nor the dealers have identified the root cause. Dealers will start by replacing the WIN (wireless ignition) module, then the starter, followed by relays, the ELV module, and finally send you on your way. Soon you will stranded with a NO START / CRANK INOP problem again. There is no real solution identified... ...and that's a travesty. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
