Stalling on 1990 Caprice

Have your temp sensor checked. It may not be setting off a code but a sign of a failing temp sensor is hard starts, rough idle, until the car heats up. It sends a code to the ECM to help adjust fuel mixture. If it sends gals readings, the computer will adjust the fuel-air ratio and cause vehicle to run too lean until warmed up. Some people have had to keep pumping the gas pedal to keep it going from a bad temp sensor.

94-95 B Bodies have a On Board Diagnostic Built in the AC System! Try holding the AC "OFF" and "TEMP^" buttons at the same time until the screen looks funny with all the lights on! the scroll with the temp up and down button till u see 00 and hit the button that says "MIDDLE" to enter! If done right, i will start displaying any stored dtc codes. tehn let me know what code it shows!

Hi, most likely your Idle Air Control motor is malfunctioning because it should let enough air bypass your throttle body valve to let you run A/C without stalling. Hope this helps!

are you sure your alt is going out. these things are bad about bad bushing on distributor

check you thermostat because it maybe stick on open so your engine is running cold and cant reach the required temp.

Try The CTS sensor ( coolant temp sensor )

Only make right turns then. All kidding aside you might have a short some where in the wiring.
