I was wondering how much would it cost for a speedometer sensor and would it be costly to fix? Or is it worth fixing?

You can look the sensor up on the auto parts websites for a price.
It would depend on the shop in your area for labor.
The sensor is probably $35 plus labor.

SOURCE: 2002 saturn sl1 camshaft position sensor

I hate to tell you this, but there is not Camshaft Position Sensor on any 1.9L Single or Dual OHC. I assume you had someone read a Diagnostic Trouble Code from your PCM. They probably told you that you needed a Camshaft Position Sensor, and then offered to sell you one. I would recommend changing your spark plugs and your plug cables with FACTORY REPLACEMENTS. This will usually make the DTC go away. Aftermarket plugs and wires rarely work well for this engine. If you are looking for a CRANKSHAFT position sensor, look between the engine and transmission on the back side of the transmission. It is also known as the "transmission input speed sensor". More often than not though, your engine will not fire up if the Crank position sensor is not working. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: The linkage is going on my 04 Saturn Vue (manual

Allen,
How have you arrived at your conclusion? Have you manually switched the gears by hand at the shifter control on the linkage where it connects to the transmission? If it is still stiff, your problem may be in your hand(so to speak), at the linkage Lubricate it. Another place is below shifter knob a $45 dollar part may be worn. If you have eliminated low fluid levels and do not detect any leaks in your hydraulic clutch fluids you may be looking at another more expensive repair.

My 2000 Saturn LW2 had an error code for the front oxygen sensor and my speedometer stopped working. How would I be able to fix my speedometer before I replace my oxygen sensor, so I know its not the

Well, a broken speedometer can mean typically one of two things.

First, the actual gauge could be broken. If this is the case, it may be possible to replace just the gauge if you order an OE gauge, but more commonly, the cluster is a complete assembly and must be replaced all at once. The cluster itself, depending on complication may be rather expensive, but the real cost comes in the labor of disassembling the dash to get at the cluster.

The second option is that your vehicle speed sensor is bad or there is a problem on the line to the gauge. This can usually be acquired for a reasonable cost. The problem is in getting to it. It should be either mounted on the transmission case or the rear differential, but sometimes it can be almost inside the transmission and take a considerable amount of time to get to.

I have a 2003 Vue...and the ABS light will not turn off...is it safe to drive until I can get it fixed?

If ABS light is on,you still have base brakes, just like an older vehicle with no ABS.Not a problem,as a matter of fact I always disable the ABS on my vehicles because I don't like it.

Ok i got a 2002 saturn vue..code was saying bank 1 bank 2 running lean..the vue runs perfect ,sometime at park it would idle hi.anyways i have replaced the mass air flow unit..turn off light, comes back on...

I had exactly the same problem .Mine was corrected with replacing the O2 sensors .The sensors cost less than $30 each but cost about 20 mins labor per sensor .So if you got an honest mechanic the total cost will be around $130 .

The code doesn't say that the O2 sensor needs to be replaced, it is telling you the O2 is showing that the fuel system is either to rich, (to much fuel) or to lean (not enough fuel), so the sensor is not the issue, most likely something is either wrong with the fuel injectors such as dirty nozzles or there is a vacuum leak or one of the fuel control sensors like the MAF has a problem, it can and is very difficult to sort this out, the Saturn dealer has the diagnostic equip to get the root cause of the problem, are they the ones who did the work? if not take it to Saturn and even though they cost more they won't spend as much time to find the problem, outside shops can't afford this special testing gear, cost is way to high, about $50,000 for the electronic service bay diagnostic systems Saturn has. One last point the computer or PCM as we call it is very rarely the problem, about 4% of the time in fact, very low failure rate.
