could be a sticking idle air control valve... a little cylinder on the side of your throttle body.. it helps control your idling air fuel ratio.. this goes bad could cause your problems... also easy for you to replace... normally 2 small bolts and a harness.. usually run about 35-85 dollars.. check price and if it's about 35 or so.. i'd go ahead and change it anyways.. 9 years it's probly due.. :D

SOURCE: 1990 suzuki sierra - stalling,

Yes your snorkel should have the right size for air to come-in, hope you have the right diameter, but snorkels will not seriously affect your vehicle substantially.
It could be that your fuel system is dirty. I would go for having those carbs cleaned but before you do this, I would advise you to clean your gasoline tank of rusts, water then blow those fuel lines with air to declog, change your fuel filters, if you do a lot of offroading, put two(2) fuel filters, first filter goes just above the gas tank, beside the chassis, the second will be place before your fuel pump, inside your engine compartment. have those fuel pumps cleaned too, check for leaks and moistures on your fuel hose and lines. if you have done all these, and nothing happened, check for strong sparks on your plugs, it could be that they ready fouled up.and check on your igniton coil,

SOURCE: stumbling idle, stalls when throttle opens

If the car is running that bad the check engine light should be on and code/s stored in the pcm along with a snapshot of what is going on at the time the code is set. A possible solution is to check the Mass Airflow Sensor or the MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor depending on which your vehicle is equipped with. The engine may run until the engine computer switches to closed loop fuel control (means its warmed up and the pcm is in control of the fuel trim) and then stall upon accel. Be sure you have checked all the basics first.

Check if you put back all the air (vacuum hoses) hoses to their proper places. You might inter change them making the EGR valve open. Also check your fuel filter and fuel injectors.

I have a 95 Buick Century 3.1, I start it cold It idles like it always has, but after a minute it idles down to almost dying sputter, then revs high, then back to normal idle, and runs fine after that

What causes an engine to stall at idle?
If the engine stalls while idling or driving, the engine may be running out of fuel or not receiving enough fuel pressure to keep it running. The most likely cause of this kind of stalling would be a fuel pump that is not spinning fast enough or is intermittently cutting out.

Locate the fuel pressure regulator and remove the vacuum line and start the engine, inspect, if vac port leaks fuel , replace regulator, provided your vehicle is equipped with a vacuum operated fuel pressure regulator.

i would suggest changing the fuel filter if this does't work check the fuel pressure. and get a mechanic to check the ecu fault codes. as this could be caused by a electronic fault.

95 dakota dies when warmed up

yes it can but you may have a coolant temp sensor acting up which causes the computer to open the injectors to much which can also cause this 02 sensor code. when it stalls do u have spark and fuel pressure.
