4WD only operates when gear selector is in L and under 18 mph. the rest of the time your 4Wd will activate automatically if the front wheels start to spin,
Are you having any particular problems with Your 08 Ridgeline? I am ! 4 wheel drive lock button, not functioning or indicator light, and No heat on the floor was told by dealer is all NORMAL! I do have a manual, I;d be happy to look something up for you. have you experienced any of these problems that are deemed NORMAL by the dealer? but I am also searching the net for answers or particular recalls.

Cam sensor is located behind the timing belt sprocket of the front head. Fuel filter is located in the tank, it doesn't have a serviceable inline filter.
