Hello, Mercedes fuses will sometimes fool you. You need to take a pick or very small screw driver and physically touch the wire on the fuse to see if it has a small split in it. I have had many occasions where the fuse looked good and even metered good but when an amp draw came along it would open.
I hope this helps.

I believe the door locks are controlled entirely by vacuum on this car, like wise the vacuum pump is controlled by the engine (so there's nothing electric here). It could be a bad vacuum pump but I also suspect the issue is one of the door lock "motors" (just a diaphragm - not electric) is leaking.

These can be deceiving as if you lock the leaking door you squish the diaphragm and it may stop leaking and things appear to work.

Another symptom is the engine does not shut off when you turn off the key. This is also controlled by vacuum.

Are each of the 4 doors, has independent fuse for OPEN or CLOSE central locking system? # doors working fine, but rear driver side door nothing?

if there is no movement on that door check to see if you can hear the solenoid working if you can it could be linkage. If not you will need to see if it works manually if it does check the solenoid if not or if its stiff lube the latch and mechanism. if you have no solenoid movement you might need a selenoid

The central locking air-pumps often fail on these models, or leaks develop in the air lines of the system. They aren't typically easy to repair when leaks develop as they must first be traced, but if you are lucky, then it may just be a pump issue.

1993 mercedes benz 400 sel. I have no brake lights they went out about 3 days ago i check the fuses n bulb but they still dont work and my doors will no longer look with remote i check the batteries in the...

You may have two separate issues here. First as for the brake lights not working I'm guessing they all went out at once. If so there is stop lamp switch located on the arm of the brake pedal. If this switch stopped working then you will not have any brake lights. The panel underneath the dash has to be pulled out in order to see the switch. As for the locks not working the pnuematic pump which supplies vacuum for the central locking to work may have either quit working or shut down due to a vacuum leak in one of the vacuum elements. To check this go to the fuse panel in the trunk and look for the fuse for central locking and remove it for a few seconds and re insert. This will reset the pump and allow it to work again. Try the locks a few times to see if they are working. If they don't work right away then you may have a bad vacuum pump for the central locking. The central locking pump is located under the rear seat cushion on the passenger side. Hope this info helps you out if not let me know and I will try to do what I can to assist you.

My central lock is not working. I use the remote

Sounds like your pneumatic pump has failed or the fuse has blown. There is no reset per say. Contact dealer for replacement owners manual or ebay.
