SOURCE: What does a Dodge Dakota Fault Code P35FE means or signifies

Generally, PCM (Powertrain Control Module) fault codes are showed as Pxxxx. Codes are displayed on the odometer.

On some cars, the codes will read out if the engine light is on - all you have to do is put the key into the RUN position.

Normally, to get codes, you put the key on OFF and then rapidly do OFF-ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON (on some cars you have to do four or five, not three, OFF-ON cycles). To know about means description, visit OBD Fault Codes.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using Fixya, and have a nice day.

I'd get your brakes checked out. Check for abs trouble codes. I know some of the national brand auto stores will check po codes for free, not sure about abs codes?

That sounds dangerous to me, get it checked out. Till you get it fixed, set your parking brake when you stop, that should help.

The pocket scan show the code P0123 on my dakota 1998 want to know how fix that

Codes don't give a fix, they give an area to diagnose to find out what is the problem that causes the code to set. Here are the possibilities for your Dodge.
P0123 DODGE - Throttle Position Sensor/Accelerator Position Pedal Circuit High Input.
Possible causes- Throttle position sensor harness is open or shorted
- Throttle position sensor circuit poor electrical connection
- Faulty throttle position sensor
- Faulty Powertrian Control Module (PCM)

2004 jeep grand cherokee laredo, po162, po123

It is most likely the TPS sensor for the P0123 code(TPS voltage out of range). If P0123 occurs again, repair. The P0162 may be a result of the P0123 failure. So repairing the P0123 may also correct the P0162 fault.

The P0162 appears to be Jeep enginr specific. The following link may be of help.

Hi, please have the truck scanned and send us the trouble code for repair advice. I could speculate on possible reasons for poor acceleration, but the trouble code will allow a much more accurate diagnosis. You can get a free scan at most parts chain stores.

Please see my tip at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r5932051-check_engine_light_check. These are generic instructions. If you get stuck or need specific instructions for your car, please get back to me with model, year and engine info.
