Have you replace your trans, or any of its components? you need to reset the memory, disconect negative cable for 5 minutes, reconect warm up engine dont drive it until fully warm up, take it for a test drive and do a couple star -stop at very ligth throtle until normal shifting is confirm, if this doesnot help there was a recall on ecu for this year corolla but you need to verify it at your local dealer, have them run your vin, good luck

Oxygen sensor, heater control circuit. (bank 2 , sensor 1 ) You don't have bank 2 but it is upstream sensor problem.
SOURCE: Where is the starter on a 2003 Toyota Corlla
Yhe starter is in the front side of the engine. To remove it u have to remove the radiator first (you will need 10mm socket). the you will se the starte almost at the bottom (you will need 14mm deep socket and also a small extention is going to be uncofortable but is easy) by the way the stater is attached by to bolts onr you will see easy the otherone is in the other directtion hidden away just keep in mind is a 14mm.
