I have a 1999 Acura 3.2 TL with 135,000 miles, automatic transmission. I just started having a problem with the car shutting off going at any speed but then being able to restart it once in park. However, now it is shutting off at the gas station or going at high-way speeds and not starting again. However it is turning over just not starting/firing unless (and I am very lucky) I floor the gas.
Hi i remember it was a TL recall about this problem, you should go to acura they used to exchange some parts in ignition module
I have two Acura 3.2TL's. I had the same problem with stalling while driving. I would re-start it and continue driving. The problem got continuously worse. I changed the ignition switch and now it drives great. CHANGE your SWITCH
Had same problem. Found that there was a recall on ignition switch or electrical components to switch in steering column. Went to dealer and had problem repaired. No trouble since, it has been 6 mos.
Your alternator is not working that is one problem.
