You will almost certainly, (I say almost, because sometimes they seize on) need a ball joint splitter.
There are different types, but a simple to explain one is, the one that looks like a tuning fork.
As you will have to align the wheels afterwards anyway, it doesn't matter if you leave the track rod end attatched to the rack at this point.
Undo the nut on top of the said 'bush', but don't remove it totally yet.
This way you can hammer the top of the nut thus forcing it free, then unscrew little by little while hammering it through as neccesary. Alternatively, you will need to use the splitter to seperate it from the hub mount.

Most likely cause is the air mass meter also known on modern cars as the MAF sensor. check for any air leaks in the pipes also. any rips in the air pipes will choke the engine.
