SOURCE: unsafe gas line repair?

It is ok, as long as the hose is for fuel, and the hose is designed to withstand the pressure, and everything is done tight without leaks.

I don't understand the question, anyway aluminum tube are not much better, electrolosis from disimilar metals in water jacket would take care of the aluminum in about the same timeframe, i would go stainless steel lines,

If those are fuel lines then fuel would be coming out. There are lines that carry fuel vapor for the EVAP system. If these lines you are looking at are the EVAP lines (sounds like they are) then this would be the cause of the large EVAP leak.

Fuel pressure regulator

2006 navigator has a fuel pressure control module...its located behind the drivers side rear wheel. It is an aluminum box with a couple of bolts holding it. unplug it and remove.Look on the back side of it and you will most probably find a hole from corrosion. They bolted the aluminum box to steel without any insulators..the replacement part will have rubber insulators.....poor design

97 f150 noticed it leaking from a little tube on

if it is just the rubber hose going in, the rubber hose can be replaced. if the aluminum tube coming out of the firewall is leaking, it it part of the heater core, and the whole core will need to be replaced. good luck!

2008 cobalt has recently developed shimmy in front end at low speed..<45mph is problem alignment or something more serious??also, road noise which has always been somewhat loud has definitely increased.

Your cobalt should still be under warranty, so you should bring it back to the dealer. If you have done massive driving and your out of warranty, then il'd have to say that you may have a wheel bearing hub gone bad and needs to be replaced. Check the tire pressure first, tire condition and look for any signs if tire damage like tire belt separation. Tire belt separation is when the steel belt in the tires that keep the tire it's shape has broke and there is a flat spot causing the wheel shimmy. If your not sure, rotate the wheel by placing the front wheels to the rear and the rear to the front, making sure the tires are properly inflated to the recommended PSI. Good luck and start with checking the tire first.
