2007 Ford Taurus SE 3.0, OHV 6 cylinder. I ran a code scan on it and it only throws a P0174 code?

You may have a gas leak, when it catches fire you can claim on insurance. :>D Don't drive cars where you can smell gasoline. Anyway, your code tells you the car is running lean so the ECM is dumping more fuel to compensate.

What is code P0174? The Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0174 indicates 'System Too Lean (Bank 2). ' The P0174 engine code indicates that the air-fuel ratio in your vehicle is too lean. Before the gas in your car can combust and power your vehicle, it must first combine with oxygen.

What is the code P1451 solution? Runs great, codes P1451, P0171 and P0174 are coming up and the engine light is on. Car needs to get inspected but codes need to be fixed.

P0171 - System too Lean (Bank 1)
P0174 - System too Lean (Bank 2)
P1451 - EVAP Control System Canister Vent Solenoid Circuit Malfunction
I'm afraid I don't have enough info to tell you how to fix the P1451 but I'm certain it's the cause of the other two codes.
