My car starts, goes into all gears, clutch pedal goes to the floor, cars drives but goes super slow and engine revs high like not in gear, any ideas on whats causing this.. thanks
Clutch goes to floor more likely you have air in the clutch hydralic system.you need to check clutch master cylinder for low brake fluid if so you need locate leak fix it.then refill clutch master cylinder have a friend around to help bleed the system.

Hi Jackiaria
Unfortunately you have a hydraulic clutch, which is self adjusting on your car.
The problem you are experiencing is the excessive wear to your clutch, or oil contamination on the clutch plate.
Both these problems can only be fully diagnosed once the gearbox is removed and the clutch is inspected.
There is also a possibility of excessive wear, or scoring, on the flywheel surface, the longer you drive the vehicle with a slipping clutch, possibly requiring the flywheel to be skimmed.
Shop around for a best price, and a trustworthy garage !
Good Luck !
A FixYa rating would be Nice....Thanks.....John.

check the fluid level first, if its empty this will happen, if so full it and bleed the clutch, if not it could be the slave cylinder and failing both, it could be the clutch itself, easiest way to check is to see on the gearbox if the clutch is engaging when you press the pedal down.
just ask if you need more help

the acuating cylinder for the clutch needs to be replaced. this explains why you ahve no resistance when you deprress the clutch peddle. when adjusted right you should have no more than 1-1 1/2 inches of free play in the clutch peddle. and since the car will be in gear with out the clutch being pressed tells me that the clutch itself is good. please rate this

Replace the speed sensor on the trans that will cause exactly what you describe is happening.

Thats more k's than I expected. It may be the clutch with that many k's. So the clutch goes to the floor, when you take your foot off it does it return by itself? you may have no clutch fluid or a leaking slave cylinder if hydraulic clutch which i would assume it is being a 2008.
