Have you tried to open it from the back seat? If you have then you will have to take off the cover on the door and there should be a release button. Most covers are easily removed with a flat head screw driver - If your door requires a motor to operate than that is your problem. Hope this helps.

need to remove the interior door panels and check all the linkages. One of them is a brittle plastic linkage that is famous for breaking, and bits get caught up in the travel path of the door handle. I had taht issue, and rebult all mine with aftermarket plastic linkages, and the metal parts I pulled from junkyard cars. No way to fix it without removing the interior door panels, but that is thankfully a pretty easy job.

Is your car door set up to override the lock mechanism if the door handle is pulled?
If it is not set to override, is your door still locked when you use the handle?
If the door is unlocked, is your door latch in the open position when you test the handle?
If open, close the door latch (not the door, just the latch) and pull the handle to see if this releases.
If it doesn't, check to see if all the rods connecting to the latch mechanism and the handles are all in working order
