Too complicated to advise, to set up a diff you need to be experienced. Either get a skilled engineer to set the diff correctly, or change the full axle from another vehicle. If you dont set the diff correctly, it will whine and prematurely fail.

Creaking noise at backend of landrover freelander 2003 model
Check the exhaust mounts on the rear silencer box 1st. Give the rear box a gentle shake. if this seems ok, the check the bushes on the rear suspension bars and mounts these look like long rods coming from the axle to the chasis. then take the rear wheels off look at the rear springs and mounts.

Lefthand side of the engine compartment bulkhead, if its a diesel, beneath the rear seat, (fold down), remove inspection panel, and remove pump, filter is inside, for petrol.
