SOURCE: 2007 chevy silverado brake lights dont work

I had the same problem! I used a piece of wood to keep the break pedal depressed and then started to remove one of the break lamps and to my surprise it came on! Same thing on the other side. So I did not seat (bottom out) the lamps in their sockets and both break light are now working properly. I had a similar issue last spring but that time only one light was out. I put in a new bulb and it still did not work so I messed around with it a little more and it started working. Never did figure it out until now. Hope this helps!

Abslight stays on. How to fix? This is a2007trailblazer?

First you need to have EBCM - electronic brake control module check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's . If the light is on there is a code stored . I think most part stores can do this and for free . After you find out what code is stored , looking up that code in service repair information for diagnostic trouble shooting chart would be next step . There are a few codes too.
DTC C0035 or C0040
DTC C0045 or C0050
DTC C0110
DTC C0131
DTC C0161
DTC C0186
DTC C0196
DTC C0201
DTC C0240
DTC C0241 or P0856
DTC C0244 or P1689
DTC C0245
DTC C0283
DTC C0287
DTC C0290 or C0292
DTC C0455
DTC C0550
DTC C0558

Find the code do the diagnostic's , fix the problem , wiring issue's , a sensor , bad module ,what ever it is . The light will go out then . Here is a sample of code discription .
• DTC C0035 Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit
• DTC C0040 Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit

My brake lights stay on while driving my 2008 chevy 1500 Silverado any solution

I've seen lots of problems with brake switches on these style pickups. Usually they stick on. That also prevents you from being able to set your cruise control, because the engine computer sees that the brakes are on, when they're really not. If you have access to a scan tool that can read codes and data, there should be a Diagnostic Trouble Code stored in the engine computer related to the brake switch. You can also verify by looking at data in the scan tool that the switch is actually staying "applied", when it really should be "released".
If you don't have a scan tool, reach under the dash by the top of the brake pedal and unplug the brake switch. If your brake lights turn off (ignition key has to be on for brake lights to work), then you've found your problem.

I had an issue like this one on a 2007 Colorado. I assume you mean the turn signal indicator inside the truck lights up. It was a bad bulb. think it was the turn signal bulb on the side that is lighting up. As for the gear indication being dim there is more than one bulb that lights them up and one may have blown. I hope this helps.

2007 chevy brake lights dont work but the center one does

Try looking under the dash, on the brake pedal arm there will be a switch, this is your brake light switch, verify power to it, then apply brake pedal and verify power is coming out.

Brake lights do not work, all other lights work.

It is a common chevy problem for the circuit board that holds to bulb to fail, are your running lights and signals still working back there as well? If not then you need to replace the boards.
