After coming to a stop, I feel a jolt. It doesn't happen all the time. Sometimes it's immediately after stopping and sometimes it's several seconds of sitting still before I feel it, and then sometimes not at all. Has anyone found a solution for this problem?
Get solution for this online at www.reliable-store.com and get complete guide on whether to repair or not, service it, and how to repair etc

If it were a TPS or throttle position sensor, then a service engine soon light would go on if the TPS was bad or out of specifications.
Check the transmission oil level and if that's ok, have the transmission flushed and filled (about $100 or so) if it hasn't been done regularly every 30,000 mi.
If that doesn't solve the problem, then the transmission should be rebuilt or replaced with another with low miles that won't give you that jolt on start ups from a complete stop while in drive.
Good luck on this repair.

I have the same thing happening with my Suburban. I have found that the motion that you feel is the rear brake shoes releasing from the brake drum. The shoes will stick until the vehicle drives foreward and this will cause the shoes to release. Check your brakes and service them but it may not eliminate the sysmptom. I hope this helps.

2005 Equinox's are known for water leakage problems around the cowl and windshield areas. Water leaks in and causes shorts in the main wiring harness and eventual corrosion between the fuse panel's grounding to the floor under the shifter console. Reroute a new ground wire to the body from the fuse panel in the shift console. Find the source of water leak. GM paid to have mine fixed.

I had a similar problem with my 2010 suburban. Turns out there is a button near the console that can shut that feature off and was getting hit. Boy did I feel dumb, but a little less so when the guys at the dealership said they did know about it either.
Hope this helps!
