The cluch safety switch us located on the cluch peddle and they wouldn't have touched that when servicing the cluch. I would check the starter relay by changing it with the horn relay if it still doesn't work it is probably a bad starter or connection on battery.

Take back to dealer and have them check the neutral safety switch on the clutch because if the switch is not adjusted properly you will have this problem

I have a 2004 ranger edge 3.0 new clutch still leaks down

bad master CYL, MC or slave. or both is common
we replace both to finish it (shot gunned in)
my first PICKUP 1961 C10 had this, 3 on the tree.
start a post and state MANUAL transmission, as 99% of others have no clue whaT THAT IS..
GOT FLUID LOSS, WEEK BY WEEK? in clutch reservoir
A BAD MC LEAKS (DOT3) FLUID FROM REAR OR FOUNT OF FIRE WALL OR BOTH SIDES.
A BAD SLAVE LEAKS TO THE GROUND UNSEEN AS YOU DRIVE.
SO IF HAVE FLUID LOSS, BINGO IT LEAKS ! REPLACE THE BOTH IS BEST. AND Have longer service life.

Truck wont go when I release the clutch.

You need a new clutch. The clutch disc has worn out, now it's slipping on the flywheel. Clutch kit: new pressure plate, new clutch disc, new clutch release bearing, and new crankshaft pilot bushing- about $150-200, somewhere in that range..

I have a 94 Ford ranger 6 cyclinder with 170K on it. This past week, I started to notice a shifting gear problem. When the engine is running I have a problem putting into gear sometimes, not always. when...

Check the clutch adjustment. If your system uses a clutch master cylinder, the release components are suspect.
Your description indicates that the clutch is not fully releasing. Worst case is new clutch and both bearings....not the end of the world but more costly than release systems..

Will not go into gear clutch pedal has no feeling

Check the clutch fluid (whiteish plastic resivour, drivers side firewall). My 88 Ranger has a slow clutch leak and I need to fill it maybe once a week. It went almost dry one day and I couldn't get it into gear (refilled it and all was ok). Also, sometimes if you don't put the rubber diaphram in correctly the clutch will feel funny.
Or your clutch could be gone/wornout.
