Hi,
Look under the hood for a fuse panel. There should be a diagram on the lid that shows HeadLight Relays. If there is one for the left and right, try swapping them - WITH THE KEY OFF. If that changes the light that works, then either the dealer or an auto parts store should have the relay.

It's also possible the headlight harness is bad - they can overheat and melt. Verify there is no damage to the harness wired from the headlight to the fuse panel under the hood.

If you also lost the light dimmer and highbeams, you may have a short in your wiring, or the 'stalk' on the steering wheel is bad.

believe it or not your problem is quite common. you need to replace the turn signal switch. it is located in the steering collum beneath thr air bag. it is not an easy job. better to have a mechanic do it

SOURCE: 2003 nissan frontier dash lights quit working.

In my 94 maxima this problem was solved by replacing a relay - but my gauges didn't work either.

You probably have a loose connection - jiggle the wires, unplug then plug in wiring harness. Start underneath the dash because it is the easiest, then you may have to remove the instrument cluster (this sounds tough but should only take 10 minutes - just need to remove some screws).

Have you tested the amps being drawn with all bulbs in the circuit. This can be done easily by the DIY with an amp gauge and a few feet of wire. compare the result to the fuse amperage.

SOURCE: My brake lights are not working. Bulbs look good,

When the brake light is illuminated on the dash, it may not be because the hand brake is engaged. It can also mean that your breaking system is in distress. it is possible that you have a short somewhere between the fuse panel & light assembly or it is possible that the sensor for your rear brakes has malfunctioned. I apologize that I am not as knowledgeable on Nissan products, however I had a similar situation with a Dodge Durango, only to discover that the rear brakes were not functioning. I hope this helps =)

SOURCE: tail lights don't work but brake lights do. fuses are all good.

the bit which the bulb sits in might be faulty, only saying this, because I have had same issue with my car.

Toyota hiace lights wount come on

Check the dimmer switch! Head lights should still work if dimmer! But no interior dash lights! Fuse for lights is under hood in fuse center! If it is the headlights I would check the switch and if applicable the relay! I assume you have checked for ground at the light and power at the headlight fuses!! Good luck

1996 dodge Ram 1500 4x4 headlights dont work. All other lights work. Headlight lamps are all good. Could it be the switch or the multifunction switch? High beam works when I pull on the directional le

The headlight switch gets power for the headlights from a 50amp fuse.
The fuse powers the headlight switch then the dimmer switch breaks for high and low beams. So if the high beams work, the problem may be with the dimmer switch.
The dimmer switch is made into the turn signal switch on the column. You would need to check the low and high beam circuits at the switch for power.

1997 Chevy Cavalier. Bulbs/Fuses are good. Weird Headlight issues.

It could be a ground problem, or the dimmer switch. I would check for power and ground at the lights with them unplugged and then take a look at the dimmer switch.

1994 silverado illumination on instrument panel doesn't work, parking lights and tail lights do not work but headlights and brakelights work fine. All fuses are good. Is this a bad dimmer switch?

No. Dash lights being out could be a bad headlight switch, since the dash lights are routed through the headlight switch, not the dimmer switch. Park and tail lights also controlled by the headlight switch.

Dash lights do not work 2000 ford exploier

All go out at once, first check fuses, then dimmer switch for dash lights, finally headlight switch. To check dimmer switch, pull connection off back, on harness with test light and headlight switch activated, 1 of the leads should have power, if so, use ohm meter on dimmer to make sure it has reading between 0 and some value, if no value, open, dimmer is bad, if there wasn't power then check headlight switch, there should be heavier gauge wire that powers switch and 1 for output to hi/lo switch, smaller gauge wires for tail lamps, dash lights, license plate lamps, parking lights. The color wires from dimmer would correspond to the same colored wires on headlamp switch, probe that connection on headlamp switch with switch engaged and see if you have power, if not replace switch, if so, check wire from switch to dimmer. Now if the lights slowly went from bright one day, to less bright some other day, to not working, then the bulbs are bad... good luck...

Drivers side head light is way dimmer than passenager light even after new bulb replacement

When looking from the outside of the headlight at the bulb, can you see the bulb clearly??
These lenses are notorious for dulling very badly. If it has you can use a regular headlight 'restoring' kit sold at most auto part locations.

If it is not a lens issue, you may have a wiring/supply issue.
Then you would need to find the troublesome wire/connection.
I am not the best at wiring issues, but I would try to find a power source wire with the same amperage rating, run a bypass jumper from a known good voltage source and see if the light changes. If no change, your problem may be the harness or plug at the rear of the headlight bulb.
Hope I could help
