The door in the heater box is most likely stuck. It is located under the dash on the passenger side

SOURCE: 96 Jeep Country-Heater blowing warm; NOT hot

unless you got visable signs of leakage its not heater core, but it could be pluged with sediment. take off both heater hoses and flush it both ways until it runs clear. you can also mix a little baking soda and water and pour in core and let set for a while and then flush.

96 Grand Am 2.4l A/C not equipped - Lots of cool air through vent. Almost no air to defrost. Blows hard to floor (great temp mix). Every vent setting? Mech just replaced heater core? What? Fine before

Looks like your mechanic messed up. If he has any integrity then he should take care of you. If not and you want to try and tackle it yourself then you have to ask yourself this: do I want to pull the dash out? Because that is what that will entail. Sounds like he may have messed up the ducting somehow. Unless the blend doors and directional doors are electric actuator operated in which case those actuators need to be replaced

The heater core is going bad in my blazer, but it still blows hot air. When I turn the control to switch the heat from vent to defrost or floor, it still blows out of the vent. How do I fix this?

THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH A HEATER CORE IF CORE IS GOING OUT IT WILL LEAK THATSOUNDS LIKE AN ACTUATOR ACTING UP OR VACCUUM LINE LEAK BEHIND DASH

When I cut on my air or my heat it will not blow out the vent but it will blow out the defroster what is the problem 1995 Catilac sedan Seville

One of you motors in the heater venting system has burnt a fuse, burnt out or has come disconnected. This prevents a flap in the heater from changing positions and sending air to the floor or the defrost.
Have you had a heater core or motor replaced recently as the heater ducting needs to be removed for some of this work and it is possible to have problems with the heater venting doors not moving after the work is done.

Heater not working

What does that mean? It blows air but not hot air? It doesn't blow air at all with A/C or heat? I assume you mean it blows, just not hot. If so, make sure your car is running at operating temp. If the car isn't warming up, your thermostat is stuck open and the coolant can't heat up enough to transfer heat from the heater core to the air you're blowing out the vents. If your car warms up to operating temp just fine, you may have a heater core issue. Your core may be clogged with corrosion thus not allowing heat transfer as well. If the valve on the inlet hose to your heater core is bad it won't allow hot coolant into the heater core, once again no heat to the air blowing out your vents. One of these is most likely your issue. I hope this helps.

No heat in 99 saturn sl1 fan blows but little heat

One or more of:

1. Your coolant is low
2. Your thermostat doesn't close and needs to be replaced
3. The valve from the cooling system to the heater core is stuck
4. Your heater core is clogged
