Need to remove panel without damage to reach door lock activator
SOURCE: need to remove inner rear passenger side door
On the inside trim, you can remove screws (these screws may be covered by filler pieces or may be visible, or they may require you pry a plastic piece off that covers the screws) that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you need to pull back the weather seal and then you can access the bolts securing the outer handle

Assuming the door will open, look for screws in the grip openings in the armrests (some may be concealed behind plastic plugs which your carefully pry out.
The bulk of the panell attachment is by means of plastic mushrooms which snap into sockets in the body of the door. These mushrooms remain attached to the door panell.
There will also be actuator rods clipped to the interior release and lock, carefully unclip these while minding their position for reassembly.
Your are likely facing replacement of a lock servo

If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door

Remove the screw, then separate the lock cylinder (A) and cylinder switch (B).
Disconnect the cylinder switch connector (A), and detach the harness clips (B), and remove the cylinder switch harness (C).
Remove the maintenance seal (A), and remove the bolt, then remove the cylinder protector (B).
