IT is possible that the oil is coming from a failed gasket between the intake and the motor. First re-tension the bolts IF it still leaks remove and replace the gasket. It may be necessary to put sealer around bolts as they may go through to an area where there is oil splash.
A couple of leaks can be fairly large. An Oil Pan leak where you will see oil seeping down the sides of the pan and dripping directly below. The other is a Rear Main Bearing Seal leak and the oil will be coming from where the engine meets the transmission.
both problems could be due to a plugged or defective pcv valve, since your symptoms would both result from that. you do not say where the oil leak is coming from, but if it is coming up top at the valve cover (especially the back) this is a possibility. check the valve itself, and the tube that goes from the intake tube to the valve cover for blockage.
I have owned several including a 2000 that i drive everyday. They have all used more oil than i thought was normal ( about 3 quarts between changes).A new pcv valve will help, i dont belive there is a fix other than rebuilding engine.
Around the rad eh, sounds like it could be the filter is not tightened enough, as for the smoke, im guessing that the oddly colorered smoke comes out of the tailpipe, it most likely is that the rings around the pistons are bad. That's what's happen many times before with cars, the ring(s) around the pisons go (expand or break) and thus causing oddly multicolored smoke to come out. Could also be the coolant is leaking into the chamber and mixing with the gasoline (which is not good at all).
jack up the car and look underneth it , if it is a large amount it is probaly a front or main seal and a lot of work, if it is a small amount you need to tighton the oil pan the bolts tend to come lose overtime and need to tight
the jerking and then died part sounds like you sezzed up your engine in other words you just (crapped a wagon) - the other use out of your dead car is to turn it in to a wagon.
