I have a 2003 suzuki liana 1.6 litre it will run for 20 to 30 minutes then cuts out wait for 5 minutes then will drive for the same period no worning lights are showing up and also the cooling fans are not starting can anyone shed some light for me cheers
Have you checked all fuses for the cooling fans? Seems to be that the car is warming up to temp and then some, and protecting itself from overheating by shutting down the engine.
I am having the same problem but have taken car to electrician who has checked all fuses still shutting off
No I will check the fuses tomorrow. Would that cause the sudden heating and cooling. I am in Australia ( long distances ) I can drive for over an hour at 80km no problem then when I get to the freeway 110km for 30 min no problem suddenly engine light comes on and temp gauge goes to hot. i pullover and can hear the car boiling and hissing, so I wait till it stops, about 5 min turn the engine on the temp gauge goes back to normal and engine light goes off within a min or two. The engine does not shut down. I stop to protect the engine.

My Suzuki liana 2003 model hatchback. Miles is 38000, engine will stall after 30 mints running . When start again same problem again. I have check ignition and cooling system ok. Also change coolant temp sensor. But still same. I noticed when engine going hot nothing showing on dash board not run radiator fan. Please help me for this problems.
