Traction control and ABS are not working. What would be the possible problems?
When you have those lights on --- it could also be the abs sensor, it's most likely a faulty abs sensor. I think it's located on the front right wheel...get it check out or just replace it about $40-50 at most auto places.
When the "service engine" light comes on, the car will die at times when coming to a stop. It starts right back up with no problem. Still runs quiet. What to do???
This could be a fault with the steering angle sensor located at the lower part of the steering colume, a fault read from a dealer will be able to verify this

ABS and traction lights are on, also the Service car soon
Dealer says there likely is a transmission problem I cannot see the connection
what dash lights are illuminated? ABS & DSC? not sure what year this car is, but the newer ones will have a message displayed too. i would check brake pads if both lights are lit. front or rear may need replacing.
