SOURCE: Honda Accord 2003 - Engine and steering vibration

You might to have a tire shop check the wheel for roundness, not balance. A tire can be balanced and be out of round, causing the shaking you describe. On front wheel drive cars, the wheel/hub assembly may be bad, which a good tire shop can tell you if it is. Can't say if it will be expensive, the hub is relatively inexpensive. Labor will probably be the deal-breaker.

SOURCE: Weird noises in drive and reverse

The high pitched whine in reverse sounds normal for a honda. Ever honda I have had makes a similar noise while in reverse. The spinning, scraping noise in drive is not normal. You might want to see a mechanic about that.

SOURCE: 1998 honda crv vibrates when starting out

Increased vibration from a vehicle indicates worn out engine supports. This vibration often disappears when revving the engine high, but is very noticeable at low revs.

You can have these inspected and possibly replaced to reduce the vibration cominf from your engine.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Automatic Honda civic wont reverse

take it back. They missed something. You should have a warranty on the work. Of course that does have limits which include both mileage driven and months since the vehicle was released to you. I am guessing you did not do the work since your saying you had it done. There really isn't much you can do other than have it taken apart and checked. So long as your TCM (transmission control module is not bad= computer for transmission)

2003 civic stalls at stop

If a Honda is not producing enough amps it could cause it to stall but the battery should die if its the alternator. Sounds like the coil or distibutor.

I have a 03 honda civicand the air conditioner wont work? it doesnt need recharged and the light comes on when i push the button but i get no cold air? any ideas?

I have the same problem right now, and from what I can figure, it looks like an intermittent thermal protector switch on top of the AC compressor. My 2003 Civic air conditioning works fine for 20 minutes or so and then stops working. If this switch is faulty, the compressor clutch won't engage and you won`t get cold air. I will get it replaced soon, but it seems like the access is not easy.

Honda Civic 1.6 vtech Inspire 03 with poor fuel consumption

this car is fitted with a computer controlled engine/gearbox it will try to make you drive as economically as poss, if you let it,Try this, without using the gas padal let the car accelerate all the way to top gear on its own then from stop use 1/3rd of gas pedal upto top gear, try not to assist acceleration let it do its own thing.if you can drive like this all the time gas mileage will be considerably higher.it is made this way because makers have been told to reduce power/gas consumption in all cars....of course you can use kickdown but watch your fuel guage....

Vibration of vehicle when slowing down or coming to a stop

sounds like your brake rotors are severely warped, get them replaced. since its a 2007 im gonna guess your mechanic has never done them on your car yet, you might still be using the original rotors your car rolled out of the factory with.
