I have a 1995 gmc jimmy 4x4 vortec engine and can not get it to go in 3rd gear we hooked a computer up to it and it read no code we replaced 2 solinoids

If it's a manual transmission, it's the bushings under the gear shift that a beat out of it. If it's an automatic, check you fluid level and filter. It may not be able to build enough pressure in the tranny if the filter is clogged or isn't enough fluid.

You may potentially have an serious electrical drain in your car circuits. The drain is slow and continuous, draining your battery charge even if you do a start. Check the cabling and look for load on your battery with a Volt meter to check for any charge drainage. Check this as a precaution before replacing any more parts.
Hi there. I just did a tune up on my 95 Jimmy with the same motor. The firing order is 1-6-5-4-3-2 and the distributor rotation is clockwise. I hope this helps.
that is the throttle valve, it opens to allow air in the engine to produce horsepower (along with fuel be injected), what are you trying to do here? Tell me your problem maybe I can help
Follow top radiator hose to engine. Thermostst is under cover hose is connected to. If this is helpful, please post as such. If it is spotted, please post as fixya!! TY
