SOURCE: 2007 dodge Ram 1500 hemi fuel cap sensor comes on

I have the same problem. It started with engine code 0440 (evap system malfunction). I changed the gas cap and now getting the "loose cap" light plus the 0456 (evap leak very small) and 0457 (gas cap loose/off)

Anyone know where the sensor is located?

SOURCE: where is oil pressure sensor located on 2001 dodge 2500 cummins?

Hello mhak330: My name is Roger and I can give you the answer to your question. Locate the ECM on the drivers side of the engine.look for the bottom bolt holding the ECM. To the right of the bolt you should see the oil pressure sender unit. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the quality of your answer. This way we know you received helpful information. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger

2004 dodge ram 1500 4X4 5.7 hemi - runs rough & dies at slow speeds but okay at fast speeds. diagnostic code P0157 o2 circuit low voltage bank 2 sensor 2 is shown. how to fix?

Usually the code means the O2 sensor is faulty.
But in your case it could mean there is a problem with the fuel system on bank two. Bank two is the side with cylinder two.
A low voltage reading from the sensor would mean that side is very lean if the sensor is working and the sensor in front of the catalytic converter shows the same readings.

My 2007 Dodge ram 1500 with hemi has 2 codes po524 and po406 are they related

In both cases, there is a software update available for this condition. It involves having the dealer connector their StarScan tool to your truck and reprogramming the PCM.

DTC P0406 - EGR Sensor "A" circuit "High"
There is updated software available for your PCM that will correct this code if your vehicle was built prior to mid February 07. If it was built after that, then the EGR valve will need replacing (this is not unusual). Keep in mind that could be time for a new valve, but you dont will need to change the tube, but new gaskets are a good idea.

DTC P0524 - Oil Pressure Too Low Oil pressure sending unit (sensor) voltage input above the maximum acceptaple voltage.
If the software is up to date, then have the oil pressure sensing unit must be replaced.

Additionally, check this TSB SUPERSEDES TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN 18-044-07, DATED OCTOBER 12, 2007, WHICH SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM YOUR FILES. ALL
REVISIONS ARE HIGHLIGHTED WITH **ASTERISKS** AND INCLUDE THE ADDITION OF YEARS, MODELS AND CLEAN DATES.
THE StarSCAN FLASH FILES FOR THIS BULLETIN MUST BE RETRIEVED FROM THE INTERNET.
StarSCAN SOFTWARE LEVEL MUST BE AT RELEASE 8.04 OR HIGHER FOR THIS BULLETIN.
StarMOBILE STANDALONE MODE OR StarMOBILE DESKTOP CLIENT MAY ALSO BE USED TO PERFORM THIS PROCEDURE.

2004 Doge Ram 2500 5.7 Hemi 190K mile had oil pressure gauge drop to ZERO and check gauges light come on and engine shut down.. Check oil 1 guart low, add oil. let cool. crank up, good gauges drove home 45...

If the valve lifters are quiet you most likely have oil pressure even with gauge showing "0".Sounds like the oil pressure switch going bad.I would try that first.

Oil pressure fluctuating

The sensor could be failing to read the lower pressure when the engine RPM slows down. Or the pump could be failing. I would replace the sensor and see if that doesn't correct the problem
