Fuel pump i need to change a fuel pump in a 2004 cavalier. i need to know where to locate the pump without having to rip out the seat or tear apart the trunk to save me some time. also i would like some instructions on how to change to pump itself safely

2003 cavalier fuel pump location

all modern gas car are in the fuel tank
in USA by EPA laws on EVAP reduction rules.
we check fuel pressure first not ever taking a bath in fuel for fun or kicks, ever.
learn to use the SM and fuel pressure gauges.

I HAVE A 2004 SONATA WITH A BAD GAS LEAK NEAR TOP OF TANK AND IT JUST LEAKS WHEN CAR IS RUNNING SO THURSDAY AFTERNOON I GOT UNDER CAR WHERE I HAD A GOOD ANGLE OF THE HOSES GOING INTO FUEL TANK AND WAT

google youtube and find out if there is a video pertaining to changing your fuel pump..U might be able to access it from under the back seat or from in the trunk...there for u wont have to drop the tank..sounds like a bad fuel hose from tank to fuel filter via Engine

You will need to drop the tank to do anything with the fuel pump.

You sure need to remove the back seat all the way to enable you access to the fuel tank.

look under the car and see where the tank is located. If it is under the trunk its probably in the trunk same for backseat tank would be under the back seat.

How do i get to my rear speakers on my 2000 chevrolet cavalier?

most gms you get to your rear speakers through the trunk instead of the back shelf. i don't know how to describe it but there's like a 'craddle' holding the speaker up in place.

2004 CAVALIER FUEL PUMP

lift back seat and their is an access cover to fuel sender unit that houses the fuel pump as well.check connections as well as often the pump is ok but the wiring connection is burnt

2004 Cavalier it is in front of the gas tank under the body. If you put the car up on ramps or stands and get under it from the back it is easily visable.You must drop the fuel tank and then replace the pump per instructions that come with the new pump.

The fuel pump is in the tank on the car...you have to drop the gas tank to get to the fuel pump in order to change it out.
