SOURCE: the service stability system light came on in my
My Service Stability System Message along with the (ABS) Brake Light lit up on my dash, what can i do to fix it...Or what does this mean ?
SOURCE: my 1998 cadillac deville says service stability
Your computer has detected a problem in your air ride suspension. If is most likely either a height sensor but could be the compressor or air bags.
Does the system drain down overnight? That could mean a valve or a small tear in the air bag or even an air line. If the compressor brings it back up when you start the vehicle that would tell you the compressor is good, or at least not the problem.
Suncore Industries at www.suncoreindustries.com has some very good explanations on how the system is susposed to work and has some troubleshooting tips.

Anytime I get a too lean DTC I first change the fuel filter if it hasn't been changed in awhile. You'd be surprised how many times this has helped.
Good Luck with it.

Whenever
this warning or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating that
the systems control module has detected a fault, it then disables the
system as long as the light is on. You must now have the dealer hook
up a special electronic diagnostic tool and "scan" the
system for the fault code that is stored for the problem(s)
