my brake lights are not working. i have tested the brake switch and no power- also done a cont test between brake switch wire at the lamp and the switch and open circuit. the brake is befor the switch..-- does it go to a relay befor the fuse??

i have no idea offhand but the way i would find out is to remove the cover off the back of the headlight and on the bulb is a connector ,the top horizontal connection is the earth and then the vertical connections either side are the dip and the beam ,most vehicles have the right one as the beam so look at the color ,if you have a twin bulb type then the inner one which is most often the beam so look for the colour on this one ,now be carefull as some vehicles have a multi plug going into the headlight then the wires run from the back of the multiplug socket and could be different colours ,and as iam colour blind red/green i always use a multimeter or a screwdriver probe that lights up when power is present .This may not be the answer you need but it will enable you to have some idea what to look for as some vehicles have a big connection block where the engine loom connects to the firewall so again the wire colours can change their as well.

No power to one headlight, where is the fuse? 1990 wrangler

Are these your wire colors for headlamps? In the diagram, the top wires are voltage, the bottom wire is ground, check both. There is no fuse for headlamps. There is internal circuit breaker in headlamp switch. The exterior lamps not including headlamps are fuse protected.
Maybe a problem with bulb or wiring circuit. The voltage for hi beams on both sides, come from the same place. Lo beams, the samething.

08 Camry high beam light stopped workin so I bought a new switch.it still doesn't work but blinks When on " auto" Blue high beam switch light shows on dash but does not work. thinkin it's a bad wire?

No , not a bad wire ! The headlamps are controlled by the main body ECU - electronic control unit ! The Headlamp switch is a input to the ECU. The thing to do would be to hook up a factory scan tool an check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes . Your best bet ,take it to a quailfied repair shop. You have no idea of the electronics involved to turn on those headlamps . thinkin it's a bad wire????? You wouldn't know how to test it any way , would you ? Do you know how to use a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter , how to read a wiring diagram to trace a wire ? Looking at a wiring diagram i see relays for the head lamps . The ECU energizes the relay to turn on the headlamps . Does yours have auto headlamps ?

I want to take out the high beem fuse for a 2003 buick regal... I lost the car manual

Two fuses HDLP L fuse #36 15amp & HDLP R fuse #32 15amp ,located in the under hood fuse / relay box. One is for Left - low an high beams an the other is for right side low an high beams . What's wrong , no high beams ?

Headlights not working

Not a fuse problem , same fuse power's low an high beams . Looking at wiring diagrams an using a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter to test the electrical circuit's is the way to find the problem . The light's staying on for 3 or 4 min's. is a function of the BCM - body control module ! Do you know anything about automotive electrical testing ? Headlamps
The headlamps may be turned on two different ways. First, when the driver places the headlamp switch in the HEADLAMP position, for normal operation. Second, with the headlamp switch placed in the OFF position, for automatic lamp control (ALC). During ALC, the headlamps will be in day time running lamp (DRL) operation in daylight conditions, or low beam operation in low light conditions. The LH HDLPand RH HDLP fuses, supply battery positive voltage from the underhood junction block to the left and right headlamps. The circuit continues through both low and high beam lamps, then back to the underhood junction block. The low beam and high beam circuits continue to the headlamp switch. The low beam and high beam circuits also provide the body control module (BCM) with both low and high beam inputs. The headlamp switch includes the dimmer switch and the flash-to-pass switch. When the headlamp switch is placed in the HEADLAMP position a path to ground is provided. Ground is provided at G201. Depending on the position of the high/low beam switch, either the low or high beam circuit will now have power and ground.
The LH HDLP fuse in the underhood junction block, supplies battery positive voltage to the automatic lamp control (ALC) headlamp relay coil circuit. The ALC relay switch circuit is connected to the low beam circuit at the headlamp switch. When the headlamp switch is placed in the OFF position, the BCM will automatically turn on the low beams in low light conditions. The BCM energizes the ALC relay, closing the switch contacts and grounding the low beam circuit. Ground is provided at G201. With the headlights in the low beam position, the high beams may be momentarily turned on or flashed with the dimmer switch handle. The flash-to-pass feature is accomplished by pulling the dimmer switch handle toward the driver. The headlights may be switched to high beam with the opposite movement of the dimmer switch lever. When the headlamp dimmer switch handle is pulled toward the driver, the flash-to-pass switch closes grounding the high beam circuit. Ground is provided at G201. Both high beams will remain on until the driver releases the switch handle.
If the driver places the headlight switch in the HEADLAMP position , the headlights will remain on until turned off or the battery runs dead.

Missing license plate wiring and complete assembly. How do I splice in to the trailer or tail lamp wiring? Off the "brown wire"? Is it really that easy?

These are the diagrams basically from the headlamp switch going back to the license plate lamps. The main splice after the headlamp switch going back is in the main harness near the warning chime module. If you need a larger picture or the entire outside lighting wiring, feel free to email me at [email protected] with all your vehicle information. Yes it is that simple by just splicing into the main rear light wiring at the brown wire. Hope this is what you were looking for.....

I need a wiring diagram for fog lights oem to my toyota

The link below is a Typical fog lamp / driving lamp hookup. Keep in mind that in most states, for these lamps to be 'legal' (and thus pass inspection), you must wire them such that:

1. You can cut them off (in other words, there must be a switch installed to turn them off)

and

2. They may only be operated with the low beams. (therefore, you must power your on/off switch from the low beam circuit)

No Hi Beam on 93 Camry

The headlamp circuit is rather simple. From the 15 amp RH headlamp fuse, there is a red w/yellow trace that goes to the RH high beam. Out of the 15 amp LH headlamp fuse, the wire going to the LH Hi beam is solid red. Both of these wires should have power when the headlamp relay is energized. The wires from the Hi Beam bulbs going back to the switch should both be red w/black trace. The wire going from the headlamp relay to power the 2 15 amp fuses is white. The headlamp switch applies a ground to illuminate either the Lo Beams or the Hi Beams.
