You have POSSIBLY 1. Headlight Switch bad
2. Disconnected or Corroded Ground in trunk
3. Make Absolutly sure the tail lamp FUSE is good
These are realy the only things I would suspect , Because Brakelights and Reverse lights are on
Different Curcits.

2002chevy s-10 third brake light works but not the tailights

you have 2 elements in the bulb. One for turn signal and lights, the other for the brakes. You have a bad bulb that needs to be replaced.

My tailights and dashlights won't work because the fuse blows.

it sounds like a short in the park lights.you will have to start by disconnecting headlight switch then install fuse, then check all park light bulbs and there sockets, its gonna be a bad switch or socket, enless theres a wire touching ground ,but start with the switch and checking all sockets. hope this helps.

I have a 2003 pontic grand am i dont know why the interor lights, dash lights, and tail lights, aren t working at all! break lights work. right turn light works, left turn light clicks like 4 times faster...

The headlight switch is common to all your problems except the quick flash of the turn lights on one side the quick flash is usally a bad bulb as the tailights have two and one could be out and it'll still work just it changes the flash quicker with no load too little and it'll not blink just stay on. Theres fuses for the dash lights but the tailight fuse has to be good for it to get power. Any crash damaged lights need to be checked out as water getting into the sockets can mke a problem. The marker lights on the front do'nt work either. Fuse or headlight switch now remember that the radio has a light in it too and if someones changed the radio alot of aftermarkey readios don't use the run light as they are on withthe radio on and this wire may be touchin ground or be hooked up wrong at the lights the wire color is brown. It's highly unlikly that alot of bulbs failed at one but the car is old. Start with fuses and if the tail fuse is blown and it has an odd radio pull it disconnect it and try another fuse

Tailights only work on directional and brakes ,no running lights

Usely dash lights and taillights are on the same fuse, if you don't have dash lights you won't have tailights. If you got dash lights than you could have blown bulbs or maybe a bad headlight switch.

No tailights

this can occur when you add aftermarket product to your stock set up. if you have added anything to your explorer recently, deinstall it and this should reset the fuse relays. also, check your fuse box under the dash for blow outs and burned wires.
