They all do that. when old.

no photos of the EATING look.
but miles on tires not stated. so.... cant speculate.

why not go to any alignment shop (free)
and ask?
sir, do my tries, look like they are wearing funny (badly) abnormal.
bingo? and is 100% Free, no guessing and bs

if its low mileage on tire, and not driving in turns, fast. like a wild man.(woman)
then the alignment is off. get it aligned.
or you have bad brakes causing ignored skidding?
is ABS lamp glowing running?

are you not keeping them inflated to spec, per the sticker on the driver door jamb?
bingo?

i had a buddy, that complained about tire wear.
found out he drove 70mph on gravel roads. (yes wild)
yah ,just never now what a driver does.

Whenever I have tire problems, I just go to tires burlington. They help me with whatever problem I'm having. I love being able to go there and coming away with the problem resolved.

Keisha,

How many miles on these tires? Are they wearing on the outside edge, inside edge, or evenly across the tread? do you have them rotated regularly? Generally the number one cause of premature tire wear is improper inflation. Always use the tire pressure information on the sticker on the inside of your driver side door, not the "Max PSI" listed on the tire. The second cause is the wheels being out of alignment. Most tire shops will check the alignment for free. I usually suggest Firestone because they (to my knowledge) are one of the only shops left that do lifetime warranty alignments. Good luck and hope this helps.

Replacing the inner tie rod on a infiniti fx35 without special tools, can it be done?

hi,

yes, you may have to get a separator fork if it wont break loose. you run the risk of breaking other parts as your going to have to use a mallet. its going to have to go in for an alignment right away after. all those threads on the tie rods are to align it and just being one turn off will eat up the tires.

WONT START.

If it is turning over fine but not firing up then it is probably your fuel relay. About a 50 dollar part and very easy to replace. With my vehicle it is mounted in the rear behind the spare tire under the vehicle. What happens is those slowly corrode and eat away at the board.

MY 98 GRAND PRIX IS EATING UP THE BACK TIRES. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING

your rear tires are out of alignment ... take your car to an alignment shop (not a garage that also does alignments) and have it inspected.

Front end shaking and squilling and eating tires

You need to take your van in for a front end alignment and the problem will appear right away, may just need adjustment but also it may need work.Have the repairs made because it sounds like your van is unsafe to drive in it's present condition.

Looking at buying one with 44,000 miles I have seen the maintenance report but a friend has an 04 and it eats tires. any connection?

people drive differently and cars are set up differently --if ur friend is an aggressive driver and doesnt take care of tires [maintain air pressure--rotate-and alignment etc] which would make any vehicle will eat tires- also different tire companies products wear different

Check the most often over looked other tire. The spare.
If that is at proper pressure then the tire pressure monitoring system has a fault and will need to be checked at a tire store such as firestone or your local dealership. These systems have a different type and seperate sensor/controller that the cars manin computer.

I'd say there's no grease left in the CV joint boots, if it's front wheel drive. Something you should check right away, as your car has about reached that age, and if you run it without grease in the boots, you'll eat up the joints in a big hurry, and that's costly and dangerous as well.

Wheel Bearing?

That is the Bearings. You should probably take it in and get a Replacement Vehicle so that they can Repair this. The longer you run it like that the More of the Spindle it will eat away.
