99 olds aurora pass key problem

You have a problem in the Ignition switch. The switch is wore out. $600.00 to replace! NOT!!!!! The ignition is not sensing the ignition key resistor. To fix this , you will need to sacrifice a key but it is a simple fix to bypass the security system. Remove the steraring colum cover locate the 2 white wires coming down from the ignition switch. Cut them. Solder the wires , From the firewall, onto the resistor in the key. Securley place some shrink tubbe over that. Wire tie this up under the dash securly. You have just bypassed the security system! You can now start your car with a key made by the local hardware. I am going on 2 years with this fix! You have a problem in the Ignition switch.
