I don't no I just bout this'd car from sum girl I no.. I'm sure she hasn't done anything 2 this car.. Also car shakes a little not much but it does.. Diss car has 123,000 mile..
do a transmission service thats one thing you want to do asap othere on shakeing check motor mounts ok you should be ok after that
They tell me that if it never been done it could do more harm then good...is there a different s between flush & transmission fluid change...?
i am a mechanic and what i sugest is for a full trans service that means no flash ok that means replace trans filter and not all fluid just what ever is on pan it should only take 5 qt of fluid add 4 half qt then add a bottle of trans x its sold at pep boys do that dont worry this will help your transmission not hurt it ok let me know

RACE UP CAR GRAB WHEEL AND SHAKE IT UP DOWN THEN SIDE TO SIDE LOOK FOR PLAY OK LET ME KNOW IF YOU FIND PLAY ON WHEELS ETHERE SIDE TO SIDE OR UP AND DOWN OK NOISE UNDER CAR NEAR CAT MOST LIKELY YOU CATALYSTIC CONVERTER WHEN THEY GO BAD SOME WILL MAKE NOISE COUSE THE INSIDE FALLS APART OK

You need a new Pressure Control Solenoid Body. 9L2Z7G391A -solenoid pack for a 5R55S Trans. $332.20. at Trans Parts supplier. Don't even call a Lincoln Dealer for a price. They wouldn't even deal with me because I have a sales tax ID, and ask too many question. They will screw you over big time. That's a common problem in a long list of LS issues, my wife has one also and I used to have a Trans Repair Shop. It will slam into Reverse cold, Slip or flair on 3 to 4 Shift. Also expect the EGR Valve to go bad and make the trans issue even harder to troubleshoot, untill it works correctly. Drop the tran pan, remove about 7 screws and change the solenoid body. Best bet, go to a trans shop, never a dealer. Also get the old fluid out of there and put Mecon V in ,with a bottle of Red Lubgard Additive.
